The driver with the most kilometers driven in Formula One races is Fernando Alonso, even though he took a two-year break in 2019 and 2020.
After missing out on a seat the year before, the two-time world champion made his debut at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix and started to be a regular in the sport in 2003.
The Spaniard has raced 109,237 kilometers in the highest level of motorsport, despite missing three F1 seasons from the beginning of his career.
This is just over 7,000 more than Lewis Hamilton, who has driven a total of 102,117 km in races.
The two drivers have nine drivers’ titles between them, and are the only ones on the current grid to have driven over 100,000 km in races.
Nico Hulkenberg of Stake F1, who has completed 60,454 kilometers in Formula One races, comes in third on the list. Carlos Sainz rounds out the top five, and Max Verstappen comes in at number four on the top ten list.
The Canadian has driven a total of 45,514 km in F1 races across his career, putting him ahead of Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.
