Leicester City may have to raise more money to acquire some players on deadline day, according to a number of reports.
The Foxes have only made one signing this January, and with relegation looming, it will be disheartening for Blue Army supporters to hear that the King Power club’s poor management may be the cause.
Progress has been hampered by LCFC’s apparent inability to consistently follow the Profit and Sustainability criteria. In essence, they are currently unable to sign any good football players.
It will be both deserving and terrifying if the Leicestershire team is truly demoted due to their own ineptitude. As a Fox, I always find it painful to draw attention to the flaws in the modern ensemble.
In actuality, the current transfer window is open until Monday, February 3. However, City has pushed their luck once more. I don’t need to bring up the Adrien Silva fourteen-second incident from a few years ago for Leicester fans.
Why is the current East Midlands team unable to simply pull itself together? Perhaps it’s time for Jon Rudkin, the football director, to leave.
I’m getting off subject, though. A senior player has reportedly been put up for sale by LCFC. As such, King Power might be able to bring on one or two new members. But with February already here, it feels too late.
Patson Daka depart from Leicester City?
I will tell it like it is. I was pretty optimistic about Daka. However, he hasn’t been successful on Filbert Way for a number of reasons.
Who knows if the Zambian started on a regular basis in place of Jamie Vardy! But it was probably not meant to be. The center forward is reportedly open to offers from Leicester.
However, if Daka were to depart, the only player in the squad to understudy Vardy would be Odsonne Edouard.
